"Thanks to the transport with which you accompanied us, a mixture of stories, music, history and legends, our journey will remain a good memory for a long time"

Franca and Marco, Sassari

I am a tour guide of Scotland based in Edinburgh. My background in education, journalism & institutional coordination of Culture/Language courses/events has equipped me with sound communication & organisational skills for an effective management of my tours.

I am passionate about showing Scotland and enjoy the challenge of adapting my tour guiding to fit a wide range of travellers' interests: from traditional culture and folk music to Scottish history & heritage.

I play guitar and Scottish fiddle and join the annual fiddle and Gaelic festivals around Scotland.

I have experience in working with media, having undertaken assignments with video productions and with the Italian national Broadcast TV, RAI, for Superquark TV series presented by Alberto Angela, episode on Mary Queen of Scots.

Having lived nearly all my adult life in Scotland, I am proud to call Scotland my home. I hold a BA (Philosophy, Art, Literature, History and Music) and a teaching PGD degree with which I taught Italian language & culture at the University of Edinburgh for a few years.

I now focus my professional activity in being a Tour Guide throughout Scotland, a wonderful opportunity to share my love of nature in the breathtaking scenery Scotland has to offer, it extremely vibrant and tumultuous history, and, above all, its wonderful, welcoming inhabitants.

I also enjoy cultural walking city tours, especially of Edinburgh, where I have lived since 1993.

This website's name Travelling Minds reflects my approach when time-travelling through the ages while touring Scotland.

I speak fluent Italian and English, and also work with Catalan and Spanish travellers.

Based in Edinburgh, but happy to travel.
